>buy ipad pro
>have to buy a matte screen protector if you don't want it to feel like you're drawing on top of slippery glass
>screen now looks grainy as shit, like some kind of TV from the 90s

don't the wacom screens have some kind of coating on the glass that makes it feel like matte without looking like garbage?

Even my Cintiq 16 pro looks like garbage due to Wacom's etched glass. Nice to draw on though

is there a trick to getting used to it? it feels like I'm on a slip and slide

Most likely it will just take time. Try drawing lightly, with the whole arm so you aren’t as reliant on resistance of the paper to help you make your strokes.

get a drawing glove instead so your hand doesnt stick to the glass (assuming portable use).
